About Zone Heating:
Consider Zone heating as a strategy this year during Winter to save money!
Turn down the thermostat on your forced air (central) heating system to between 60 and 65 degrees Fahrenheit while installing and using electric wall mounted heaters in the rooms you use most.
In this way, you only heat the areas in which you spend the most amount of time.

About Remodeling and Renovating:
Consider individual room based wall heaters linked with a centralized programmer (thermostat) as an alternative to a new force air heating system to save money.
New furnaces and new duct or cleaned duct work can be very expensive and time consuming to install. If you have just bought that cabin in the woods or house on the lake that could use some help to make comfortable, consider wall mounted space heaters appropriately sized for each room. Additionally, consider linking them through a programmer to control them all from one spot. With heaters appropriately sized for each room, you can be better assured of low upfront and ongoing expense.
In this way, you only heat the areas in which you spend the most amount of time.
